Vas and Gnomie at MSP Comicon + Lots of site additions!

Before I get to the meat of the post, I’d like to announce that the entire Velvet Rasputin website has been renovated.  There’s is a ton of new and old content back in a series of awesome new galleries around the website. The FAQ have been updated, with freshly expanded research source notes. We added more helpful resources to empower parents guiding children around web content. Other new additions include a glossary, a complaints helpline, an improved POV timeline and, so much more.  There’s even some… GASP… webcomics.  Look around and let me know what you think of the changes and additions, it would mean a lot.

Gnomie and I will be attending MSP Comicon this weekend.  We will be at table C1b doing our usual book peddling, commission taking, comic making, and mingling. If someone willing to pay the $20 “Pay Vas’s Chiropractor” free, I might even bring the doodle hoop out of retirement.  The Collected Rasputin Catamite: May Day will make its world debut that MSP Comicon before mass distribution starting this June, so you’ll get to read it before anyone else. The Collected Rasputin Catamite: Scarlet print book will also be making its Minnesota convention debut.

Vas

I was raised by a family of lawyers, cops and really interesting creative people in Puerto Rico. My mom encouraged my love for schlock cinema and comic books. When I started college, I initially wanted to be a Spanish teacher. Instead, I became a model, performer and adventurer. I have pretty much seen and done everything. I'm now a retired country housewife who spends far too much time being the boss of the VAS Littlecrow operation. I enjoy research and have a obsession with modern Russian history. It's effect on global politics, as well as its insanity and sexiness, fascinates me. That's my story and I am sticking to it.
